• Luke McMillan first in Unlimited Trucks at the Mint 400 in a Racer Truck

2020 Mint 400 Results

The Mint 400 went through some radical changes this year. The Mint 400 is now a stand alone event and race, before it was Best in the Desert running the race with the Mad Media crew running the events in Downtown Las Vegas. This year, Mad Media ran the entire show. Considering the length and scope  of the event, starting with the desert cleanup, to marking courses, decorating courses, preparing the livestream, dealing with registration for racers, vendors, parade down Las Vegas Blvd., and media, after hours event activities, clean-up, BLM, volunteers, and a laundry list of things that go into making something this large go off without an issue is nearly impossible. And there were issues, as you would expect. Changes in the race days, changes in the overall race for the motorcyclist, complaints about delays, etc…. In the end the event went off very well, the end consumer never really felt like there was an issue. The Mad Media group pulled it off.  Let’s hope the good vibe continues and we see this event continue to grow.
